I’m an Emergency Management grad student working my way through school as a resident assistant. I’m fascinated by natural disasters, I love road-trips, and I’m still trying to figure out the appeal of beer pong.

I’m serious about emergency management and desperately want to work in the field. Because of this, I spend a lot of time thinking about hazards, planning, response, social media, and how to enhance my skills to further my career. This is mostly what I write about.

I’m also 23, and part of the so-called “Generation Y” so I’m also obsessed with Instagram and sometimes feel the need to share way too much about my personal life.

Any feedback, advice, or input on Emergency Management, Residence Life, or career optimization is always welcome.
